Ornaments of Hope. Success

Ornaments of Hope was such a success.  Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. This picture above was taken by my friend Emily on her tree. Don’t you love it!

We raised over $1200 with ornaments. We sold over 80 sets. We made over 240 ornaments. Every time we made ornaments we immediately sold out of them. Thank you for supporting us.

Our kitchen is completely covered with clay. In order to get the clay not to stick to things we had to use baby powder so we also have baby powder everywhere. No amount of scrubbing can remove the powdery dust every where. We kinda look like cocaine addicts…but we’re not…just ornament makers.

What’s happenin’ next?

Well currently there is a donate button on the side of the page that goes to our matching grant. SO not only will your money be doubled but it is tax deductible. Advantage for you.

Our friends Tim and Jennifer are doing a raffle fundraiser for us. The winner gets a $100 Target gift card – they are $3.00 a piece. You can check out her blog for more details or email her at Jennifer.Willis@gmail.com. Thank you Willis’ for doing this for us.

The first of the year we are ordering t-shirts for adoption is good. Get ready for that.

Thank you for joining us on this journey. Thank you to those who donated. We have such lovely stories of giving to undeserving ol’ us. Thank you just isn’t enough. I wish I could come clean all of your kitchens. I want to share all the stories but seriously I would never stop sharing. Think stocking full of cash, envelopes full of checks, raffles, ornaments, mail, grants and so many wonderful things that I just don’t want to leave out. I will have to think of a way to share everything. We are honored you are a part of our lives.
